Allows the user to control the dynamic analysis by:
Specifying the integration method parameters. The user can specify the parameters of the Newmark time integration algorithm. By default, the "Average Acceleration" method is selected (γ = 1/2, β = 1/4). However, the user can also select "Linear Acceleration" (γ = 1/2, β = 1/6), or explicitly specify the γ and β coefficients.
Specifying whether Energy and Power spectral quantities are to be computed.
Specifying the integration time step. Three options are available which can be used individually or concurrently:
As a fraction of the ground motion time step
As a fraction of the sdof natural period
A fixed time step
Specifying the failure criteria: Specify the maximum ductility or displacement beyond which the system is considered to fail (collapse) and the analysis is terminated.
Specify parameters for Damage Index. This allows the user to specify the monotonic ductility capacity (μmon) and the α factor to be used in the computations of the Damage Index.
